Navioa is a family safety location-sharing service. A paired phone, Apple Watch, or supported tracker can share location with trusted viewer accounts — during sharing sessions on phones and watches, and on a parent-set schedule or while moving on a dedicated tracker.

Information We Collect
Navioa may collect account information such as name, email address, sign-in identifier, and authentication provider.
When location sharing is enabled, Navioa collects precise location, timestamps, speed or movement signals when available, device platform, pairing code metadata, viewer relationships, commute history, and geofence alert events.
For dedicated hardware trackers, Navioa also collects the device identifier (IMEI), battery voltage or level, motion and GPS-fix status, and reports the device stored while it was offline and sent later.
Children and Family Use
Navioa may be used by families for children under 13, middle schoolers, high schoolers, adults, pets, or personal devices.
A child's location should be paired only by a parent or guardian, and only trusted viewer accounts should receive the pairing code.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to provide live location sharing, pairing, route history, geofence alerts, diagnostics, account access, safety features, support, and abuse prevention.
Sharing
Location is shared with accounts paired to the tracker through a pairing code or an authorized account relationship.
We use these service providers to operate Navioa: Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, storage, functions, and the server that receives hardware tracker reports), Google Sign-In, Apple and Google platform services (sign-in and notifications), Resend (alert and invitation emails), Flespi (telemetry gateway for our pilot pager hardware), and OpenStreetMap map tiles on the web dashboard (which receive your browser's IP address and the map area you view). Authorized Navioa operators can access service data for operations and support.
Server logs for hardware tracker reports can contain locations and are kept for up to 30 days.
Retention and Deletion
Live location is kept as the latest tracker state. Completed routes and alert history default to seven-day retention; group owners and admins can choose a longer period, keep history indefinitely, or review and purge completed history for a device.
Users can unpair trackers, reset pairing access, stop sharing, and request reviewed account deletion. Deleting a viewer account removes personal access records but does not automatically erase shared group history or tracker data.
Controls and Security
On phones and watches, sharing can be stopped from the tracked device, and location permissions can be changed in the device's settings (iOS, watchOS or Android) at any time. Dedicated trackers are managed from the parent's app or dashboard, where reporting settings can be changed and the tracker can be unpaired. Pairing can be reset to remove current viewers and create a new code.
Navioa uses authenticated access controls and Firebase security rules, checked on the server, to restrict location access to paired viewers in the tracker's group.
