The trip to school, the walk home and the ride to an activity can all call for a small check-in. Navioa’s first focus is helping families understand those journeys with location sharing and short messages.
A reported location has limits. Look at its update time, and remember that battery, permissions and connectivity affect what appears on the map.
Choose a device that fits your routine.
- Phone: share through Track Me on a supported phone.
- Watch: explore wrist-based sharing on a supported smartwatch, with suitable connectivity.
- Small tracker: a data-only device with no calls or screen, carried in a bag or pocket. It follows a separate hardware pilot and is not yet available to purchase.
Family members can view supported devices through the app or web dashboard. Check device options before choosing new hardware.
School policies come first.
Ask your school which devices are permitted, when they can be used and whether they must be switched off or stored during the day. A dedicated tracker should not be assumed exempt from a school’s rules.
Navioa does not claim that any device is permitted in every school. Follow your school’s policy and discuss your family’s needs with them.
Families control their circle.
Our initial experience is parent-managed. A school introduction does not give teachers or staff access to a family’s location. Any future school-operated service would need its own access rules and responsibilities.
One clear first priority.
We are starting with dependable family journeys. Hardware and organization use cases have separate pilot or discovery tracks, so the first family experience stays focused.
